I Turned Right This Morning

In fact, when I think about it, that is kind of how I surf. I probably go left on waves 90% of the time.
This morning, I decided to break from my habit and I turned right and I was happy I did. I was pretty happy with my results from this morning’s shoot. It started to rain just as I started walking back to the car so I timed it pretty nicely. Lucky me.

Beautiful. How long were the exposure times, roughly? And what sort of camera do you shoot with?
The water in #1 looks like a soft dream — I like much, especially against the harsh hardness of the pier.
Thanks, Rob! Thanks, Oron! The first shot was a 4 second exposure. The second was a 2 second exposure. I was using a Canon 20D with a 28-80mm lens for these particular shots. The trick was getting to the spot before there was too much light. Had I waited 10 more minutes or so, I don’t think I couldn’t have slowed the shutter down so much without a ND filter.
