Super Sunday Traffic

I had a couple backup shots, but I wasn’t thrilled with them so after the big game, when I realized that I still hadn’t shot anything worth posting I got in my car and looked for something to shoot. I did the long exposure traffic thing at the 405 freeway at La Tijera looking northbound. Ideally, I would have taken this shot when there was still some light in the skies, but I had to finish watching the game before I took off.

I love this picture. It’s great that all lanes are occupied so that the shot is full of colour. It has a kind of symmetry to it.
You captured something very rare here, Mikey. Something seldom seen on the mean streets of L.A. It looks like the car on the right is signaling for the exit. Honorable citizen. Haha.
